A Day to Remember

A perfect Queenstown winter day, two gorgeous humans from Australia, and a pretty special way to say I do.

Allira and Imogen started their day exchanging vows beside the picture-perfect Moke Lake before hopping in a helicopter and heading up to Coromandel Peak. With the turquoise waters of Lake Wakatipu stretching out below them, it really doesn’t get much more Queenstown than that.

And honestly, they absolutely glowed up there. You could see just how much these two love each other, and it was such a beautiful thing to be a part of.

Why They Chose Queenstown to Elope

Allira and Imogen knew they wanted something a little different for their wedding. Rather than the typical warm Australian wedding, they were drawn to the idea of a winter elopement surrounded by mountains, snow and a little bit of Queenstown magic.

After seeing photos of a wedding in the snow, they completely fell in love with the idea, and that’s when Queenstown came into the picture.

Their dream became a reality on 22 August 2025, when they got exactly what they had hoped for: snow-covered peaks, crystal-clear skies, blue alpine lakes and the most beautiful winter backdrop for their elopement.

It was one of those Queenstown days that feels almost too good to be real.
